我生長在一個四面環山的烏江小鎮，烏江河水靜靜地流著。2023年12月的隆冬時節我又回到了故鄉。我與貴州的同事一起拜訪了遵義醫科大學附屬醫院脊柱外科敖俊主任團隊。他曾去意大利學習脊柱外科手術。2019年他任該院脊柱外科主任后，他把脊柱外科劃分了三大亞?？疲杭怪?、脊柱畸形、脊柱腫瘤。未來還將發展脊柱感染。每年有2500臺脊柱手術。2022年他送自已的學生盧子墨醫生去德國攻讀臨床醫學MD博士。今年5月盧醫生獲得了國家留學基金委CSC獎學金，他的導師Schnake教授將是德國脊柱學會2026年主席，到時我們也會帶領中國優秀的脊柱醫生親赴德國參加2026年德國脊柱學會年會。2020年敖俊主任帶領王翀醫生在整個黔北地區率先開展高精尖的脊柱腫瘤手術，2020年他們團隊就與世界脊柱腫瘤第一人Boriani 教授開展了線上視頻會議。經過三年發展，2023年完成近100臺脊柱腫瘤手術。真正解決了當地百姓就醫的困難。什么才是真正的學科帶頭人？真正的學科帶頭人是能夠帶領團隊，細化學科，培養人才。成為整個地區的龍頭，更好地服務當地百姓。這才是一家醫院在這座城市的價值。我們現在與世界上最偉大的186位著名醫生一同工作。這份工作讓我們明白了生命的意義。每一個人在這一生之中都應當找到人生的意義，你找不到人生的意義，你的靈魂就無法被點燃。所以每一個人都應知道你人生的大愿。中國醫療需要正直的官員，有作為的院長，有國際視野的醫生，中國醫院才能更好造福百姓。醫院才會有價值有信用，醫生才會有尊嚴且受人尊重。

I grew up in a small town alongside the Wujiang River, surrounded by stretching mountains and the tranquil waters of the Wujiang River. I made my way back to my hometown in the mid-winter of December in 2023. Together with my colleagues from Guizhou, I visited Director AO Jun and his team from the Spine Surgery Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University. Director Ao used to be a fellow on spinal surgery in Italy. After he was promoted to the head of the Spine Surgery Dept. in 2019, he divided the department into three subspecialties, namely Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery(MISS), Spinal Deformity, and Spine Tumor. He will also introduce Spinal Infection into the department in the future. Every year, there are around 2500 spine surgeries performed in the hospital. In 2022, he sent his student, Dr. LU Zimo, to Germany to pursue his medical doctorate in clinical medicine. In May 2023, Dr. Lu was awarded the CSC Scholarship. Dr. Schnake, his doctoral supervisor in Germany, will be the President of the German Spine Society (DWG) for 2026 which has an annual meeting we will attend leading a team of Chinese outstanding spine doctors. In 2020, Director Ao, together with his team member Dr. WANG Chong, was the first to perform high-precision, high-tech spinal tumour surgery in the entire northern Guizhou region. In the same year, his team had an online video meeting with Prof. Boriani, World-class Master of Spine Tumor. After three years of development, his team was able to perform nearly 100 spine tumor surgeries in 2023, greatly benefiting the local people in terms of accessing medical treatment. What makes a genuine academic leader? It should be the capabilities to unite the team, subdivide the discipline, and cultivate talents. A hospital should strive to be the leader in the region and better serve the local community. This is the value of a hospital to the city. We are now working with 186 greatest doctors with renowned reputations in the world. This job makes us realize the meaning of life. Every single person should strive to find the meaning of their life. If the meaning is missing, a person’s soul cannot be lit. Therefore, everyone should find the inspiration of their life. Chinese medical system requires righteous officials. A director with proactive deeds and doctors with international perspectives enable a hospital in China to better serve its people. And only in this way can a hospital have value and credit, and doctors have dignity and are respectable.
