2024年11月18日至22日，慕尼黑大學附屬醫(yī)院胸外科主任、美國外科學院院士Hatz教授應邀來到蘇北人民醫(yī)院，開展為期一周的客座教授活動。作為國際胸外科及肺移植領域的頂尖專家，Hatz教授的到來為蘇北人民醫(yī)院胸外科學科建設與國際化注入了新的動力。訪問的契機始于2024年8月至11月，蘇北人民醫(yī)院胸外科主任陸世春教授在Hatz教授的指導下完成了為期三個月的學術訪問。陸世春教授在慕尼黑大學附屬醫(yī)院胸外科深度參與臨床與科研活動，將國際化理念帶回揚州，為此次中德交流奠定了良好基礎。此外，11月17日，Hatz教授與蘇北人民醫(yī)院黨委書記束余聲教授共同參加了在重慶舉行的第四屆中歐醫(yī)院管理學科建設人才培養(yǎng)全球論壇。在論壇上，Hatz教授高度認可束余聲教授提出的“只有員工滿意，患者才會滿意”的管理理念，并期待在接下來的交流中進一步探討這一理念的實踐。訪問期間，Hatz教授參與了胸外科的查房、疑難病例會診，并觀摩了多場高難度手術。他評價陸世春主任團隊不僅技術過硬，配合默契，更展現了國際化的診療理念和規(guī)范化管理水準。此外，Hatz教授與史宏燦教授于11月21日聯合進行了手術直播，吸引了超7000次點擊，近1600名業(yè)內人士觀看。這場直播充分展示了蘇北人民醫(yī)院在胸外科領域的領先實力，獲得業(yè)內廣泛關注。11月22日，Hatz教授出席“2024胸心外科江蘇省繼續(xù)教育項目暨中德胸心外科學術研討會”，并作專題講座，詳細介紹了慕尼黑胸外科中心的建設與管理經驗。在揚州市衛(wèi)健委與蘇北人民醫(yī)院的推動下，中德雙方共同為“蘇北人民醫(yī)院-慕尼黑大學附屬醫(yī)院胸外科交流中心”揭牌，標志著兩院合作邁向新高度。Hatz教授總結道，他在蘇北人民醫(yī)院度過了充實的一周，不僅對中國胸外科的發(fā)展有了深入了解，更深刻感受到醫(yī)院“以員工為本、患者至上”的文化。他期待未來能夠深化與蘇北人民醫(yī)院的合作，共同推動國際胸外科學術進步。

From November 18 to 22, 2024, Prof. Hatz, Director of the Department of Thoracic Surgery of the University Hospital of Munich and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) was invited to Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital for a one-week visiting professorship. As one of the top international experts in thoracic surgery and lung transplantation, Prof. Hatz has brought new inspiration to the specialty construction and internalization of the Department of Thoracic Surgery of the Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital. Dr. LU Shichun, Director of the Department of Thoracic Surgery of the Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital conducted a three-month fellowship under Prof. Hatz's guidance from August to November, 2024, which serves as an opportunity for this visit of Prof. Hatz. Dr. LU Shichun was deeply engaged in clinical and scientific research activities at the Department of Thoracic Surgery of the University Hospital of Munich and brought international concepts back to Yangzhou City, laying a solid foundation for this Sino-German exchange. Furthermore, on November 17, Prof. Hatz and Prof. SHU Yusheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital, attended the 4th Sino-Euro Global Forum on Hospital Management, Specialty Construction & Talent Cultivation together in Chongqing. On the forum, Prof. Hatz highly recognized the concept of "Happy employees, happy patients." put forward by Prof. SHU Yusheng, and looked forward to further discussing the implementation of this concept in the following exchange activities. During the visit, Prof. Hatz joined the ward rounds and complex cases consultation of the Department of Thoracic Surgery, and observed several challenging surgeries.Prof. Hatz appreciated that the team of Prof. LU Shichun has proficient clinical skills and good teamwork, and showed their international diagnostic and treatment concepts and standardized management.Besides, Prof. Hatz and Prof. SHI Hongcan jointly completed a live surgery broadcast on November 21, attracting over 7,000 clicks from around 1,600 professionals as online viewers.This live broadcast fully demonstrated the leading strength of the Department of Thoracic Surgery of the Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital and gained wide attention in the field.On November 22, Prof. Hatz attended the Continuing Education Program on Cardio-Thoracic Surgery of Jiangsu Province and Sino-German Seminar on Cardio-Thoracic Surgery 2024, and gave a keynote lecture, introducing the experience in the organization and management of the Thoracic Surgery Center Munich in detail.With the support of the Yangzhou Municipal Health Commission and the Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital, both parties jointly announced the establishment of the "Communication Center for Thoracic Surgery of Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital and University Hospital of Munich", which marked a new milestone of the cooperation between the two hospitals.Prof. Hatz summarized that, during the fruitful week at the Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital, he has got a deeper understanding of the development of thoracic surgery in China as well as felt the employee-oriented and patient-centered culture of the hospital.He is looking forward to deepening the cooperation with the Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital and furthering development in thoracic surgery on a global scale hand in hand in the future.
