From May 3rd to 6th, 2025, the 17th Congress of the European Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology(ESPO) was successfully held in Stuttgart, Germany. It is the largest congress for Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology in the globe which is held biennially in Europe. World leading clinicians, hospital leaders, researchers, representatives of research institutes and others in this field will gather together for this event, offering an important platform to promote medical researches and exchanges on management experience in this field.

As an outstanding representative from a hospital at a prefecture-level city, HE Suyu, President of Suining Central Hospital (SCH), was invited to attend the congress to share her experience in the high-quality development of a hospital.

During the discussion, the experts dived deep into the coverage of medical insurance, streamlined reimbursement process and efficiency improvement of hospital operation, etc with HE Suyu. Especially on the affordability of medical service, experts discussed about specific standards such as “average waiting time for selective surgery”. The conference was immerged in rich academy atmosphere, and professors abroad showed great interests in China’s medical system, fully showcasing the appeal of achievements in this field to the international medical sector.
